Why MBA?

Master of Business Administration or MBA is the most dynamic, respected and widely accepted business degree all over the world and India is no exception to this. There are many reasons behind the fact that most of graduates, whether from engineering background or from conventional streams, prefer to enroll for a management degree. Students registered for MBA Program in Industry Integrated mode have access to the state of art infrastructure and are given individual laptop to have unlimited access to the wealth of knowledge on the web. Program Design

Two year weekend / Evening MBA program (Masters in Business Administration) is divided into four semesters. The first two semesters provide strong foundation in basic disciplines, while the remaining third and fourth semesters are for specialization in individual areas of interest. As per the University requirements each student undergoes practical training of eight weeks duration after second semester in business / industrial / service organizations and undertakes an applied project course work in their area of specialization in the final semester of the Program. Pedagogy

The theoretical knowledge of the future managers is enhanced by case studies of real life corporate experiences. This enables students to apply theories, skills and knowledge in an integrated manner. It also helps in imbibing professional attitude, sense of responsibility, analytical ability, leadership skills etc. in them. Students are given a complex real-time problem with the emphasis on usefulness. They are expected to:

  • Gather primary and secondary data, validate and analyse the data.
  • Determine whether there are underlying problems and if required, redefine the problem.
  • Develop and assess alternatives.
  • Develop final recommendations and an implementation plan.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of supervisory managerial experience OR

Students appearing for final Examination can apply for provisional admission.
